Hopefully, you are reading this because you like reading! I know that I would be lost and very fed up if I couldn't read! Books, ebooks, newspapers, magazines, leaflets, posters, google search, the list of reading devices seems almost endless.
What if you have trouble reading because you are dyslexic,or are partially sighted and don't know where to start looking for help? Up to 8,000,000 adults in the UK have difficulty reading. There is a great deal of help out there in this big wide world. Maybe a family member or a friend could help you find what you are looking for.
Another excellent scheme is the Reading Well Library aimed at people who have health problems. What a great idea this is, soon to be nationwide.
With the help of the organisations listed above, many more people will get a chance to read and maybe this will even slow down the demise of so many book shops on the High Street
I read every evening, usually in bed for an hour at least. No matter what time I retire, I always have a book to hand!
Which books do you like to read - romance, comedy, thrillers, factual, autobiographies? The choice is endless.
