Sometimes you know it’s time to move on, no matter how big the wrench. We’ve been considering a move from Herefordshire for some time so last week put the house on the market.
It’s been our home for the last sixteen years and we’ve created some very happy memories so it’s going to be an emotional good-bye.
It was once a hop kiln where hops from the surrounding Frome Valley were dried and then sent off to be made into beer. So it’s an unusual house but one which works well as a family home. It’s built of a warm red brick which glows beautifully in the Herefordshire sunshine, especially at sunset.
Lovely dining Room
It’s in the centre of a lively and very welcoming village with a wide range of clubs and activities, is a five minute drive from a pub which does excellent food and is on the doorstep of some wonderful countryside.
Four bedrooms, three bathrooms (all with white suites) and three reception rooms. Four of the rooms are round as they are in the hop kilns. A medium-sized garden, garage and ample parking.
Oh – and the house faces south so we get glorious light all day long
I’m only selling to someone who will love it as much as I do! Any takers?
