Hot off the press, is the collection of “Light and dark tales” WHERE ANGELS & DEVILS TREAD by Jean Wilson and Joy Lennick.
The joint ages of the friends may add up to one hundred and seventy one years, but there’s nothing “old lace” about these two women writers; while the “arsenic” connection is questionable…Both adept at delving in to the messy, murky world of murder, it is sometimes a relief… to discover their light and humorous sides!
If you prefer short stories – or are maybe too busy or impatient to pick up a thicker book – the variety of tales presented here could be just what you’re after. If Romance, Sex, Intrigue, Skullduggery, or Murder tales, all between two covers, appeals, “Where Angels & Devils Tread” could be tailor-made for you.
A “lucky dip” is to be held shortly – with a copy of Jean’s and Joy’s book as the prize. Just drop us a line and let us know why you would like to read it. Your names will be put in a hat and drawn and the lucky winner will receive a copy in the post after notification. Happy reading!
QGS Publishing have scored again!
Note: Jean Wilson is author of “The Angel of Aldgate” and is an ex Queen’s nurse. She also has a degree in Psychology and a London Diploma in the Education of Handicapped Children. She was involved in Sir Keith Joseph’s efforts to break the ‘Cycle of Deprivation.’ Jean now lives in Torquay with her husband Peter and is a writer.
Joy Lennick may already be familiar to you through the many poems and articles she has written for OAPSchat. Her last book: her sixth, was an adaptation: “From the Prairie to Passchendaele” and she recently edited her husband Eric’s memoir “A Life Worth Living.” (East End Londoners are thoroughly enjoying it!)
