The owl and small breeds farm park at Kington herefordshire is one our favourite places to visit particularly in springtime when there is an abundance of baby birds and animals to be seen.
Baby owls being hand fed
The park is nestled in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside and is naturally landscaped to provide the animals with a wonderful environment in which to live.
Careful attention is paid to the welfare of all the inhabitants and there are signs telling visitors all you need to know about each species.

Two day old rare breed goat
I was particularly interested to read about the welfare of the many different owls which are bred there.
Allieviating concern about the owls
I must admit I did feel concerned about the Owls being in captivity but the explanatory notice helped to allay my initial concern.
My favourite part of the visit was interacting with the adorable and very cheeky kid goats who followed us about hoping to get their heads into the buckets of food that are available to buy.
Wonderfully landscaped duck pond
All in all it is lovely way to spend a few hours and is delightful for old and young alike.
