I have had a busy and unusual week, but a very satisfying one!
On Tuesday, I was thrilled to go to J D Wetherspoon in Hereford, The Kings Fee and have my photo taken with the manager Ugo . Why you may ask? I am proud to be in the latest issue of Wetherspoon magazine promoting OAPSchat! A professional photographer called Gillian Evans came up from London last month to take the photograph of me for inclusion in the magazine. I was a bit nervous, but it all went smoothly!
Ugo, manager of The Kings Fee, Hereford happy to be photographed with me and the latest Wetherspoon magazine
I hope that the website will reach out to even more people now as the magazine is read by 2 MILLION people!!
On Wednesday I became a year older and enjoyed a day in Ludlow for my birthday. Derek and I caught the train for the short 30 minute journey from Hereford. Ludlow is a super town with a castle, many buildings dating back to 16th century and a variety of pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed lunch in Ye Olde Bull Ring Tavern which dates back to the 14th century! The weather was extremely cold with a biting wind, but the sun obliged every so often and we made use of its' presence for the photos to share with you!
Beautiful flowers for my birthday on 2nd March
