hereford

When my oldest two children, Mike and Sarah, were still at Infant and Junior school respectively, a few years before we moved over here, they both experienced their first countryside holiday.

Georgia Hill

I'm lucky to have many fascinating National Trust houses within easy distance and one of my favourites is Berrington Hall in Herefordshire.
Berrington is a pretty 18th century house, with Capability Brown designed grounds, set amongst beautiful rolling hills and commanding impressive views. I try to visit frequently and always find something new.

It was with a low level of expectation that we set off to try a Saturday night dinner at The Castle Inn, Wigmore. We'd heard of no one who'd been there and the usual mob who recommended places to us hadn't been forthcoming about this one.

Rose and Crown

I interviewed Michelle last week, the landlady of The Rose and Crown, Hereford. We had a lovely chat over a cup of excellent coffee!

We were looking for somewhere to take my stepfather that didn't involve much walking. It was a loveley sunny day and we decided to visit Westonbury Mill Water Gardens in the village of Pembridge, Herefordshire.
