Samsung headphones

I have been a big fan of Sennheiser headphones for as long as I can remember. They are high end quality products and always look and sound superb.

I was delighted to receive the latest in ear Momentum in ear headphones to evaluate. I chose the ones compatible with Apple products as I work with Apple and often listen to music on my ipad and ipod.

The website describes these headphones as:-

'Luscious listening. This earphone is the smallest member of the MOMENTUM product family. Still, it offers uncompromisingly clear, brilliant and powerful sound like all MOMENTUMs, as well as a wealth of valuable quality details – from the nanoprecise, stainless-steel sound tunnel to the three-button multifunction remote with integrated microphone.'

So what do I think?

For a start, the packaging is excellent. Very neat and tidy. The wires fit perfectly in the grooves, making for a tangle free environment. On taking the headphones out, one can see at a glance how well these are made. No plastic in sight! As per the description from the website  'They are made of high-quality stainless steel, manufactured using precision milling technology. It’s not a difference you can see – but one you’ll hear in the powerful yet nuanced sound signature.'

I found a track on my ipod and  ipad that I always listen to when trying out a new device. 'You and Your Friend' by Dire Straits. Wow! Excellent clarity and the sound is superb. After a couple of minutes, you don't even notice that the headphones are in your ears. Next I chose my favourite artist Ralph McTell, who I listen to on an almost daily basis. Sure enough his voice and guitar playing came through as if I was watching him on stage!  When wearing outdoors, the sound is as good as indoors, due to the perfect in ear fit. Having the three button multi function remote on the cable allows easy access to skip tracks, halt and stop the music or audio that you may be listening to.

Priced at £89.99 including VAT and free shipping, the headphones may seem a little expensive. However, they come with a two year guarantee and are so well made, that I think they are good value and will last for a very long time.

Do look at the website for a wealth of detail and also view some videos of the Sennheiser products other people have bought.
